Best of Central Maldives – South Route
After Ari Atoll, with its whale sharks and manta stations, AMBA moves south through Vaavu, where nurse sharks gather in the channels, then continues to Meemu.
Meemu’s dramatic channels, overhangs and soft corals are home to grey reef sharks. The trip finishes in Malé Atoll, with reef and wreck dives and an optional visit to Malé on the last afternoon.
Choose this route to see a less-visited side of the central Maldives without the longer crossings of a Deep South expedition.
