About
Scuba Inn is a beachfront guesthouse on Omadhoo in South Ari Atoll, built around its own dive centre. The team runs PADI courses from complete beginner to professional level, alongside boat dives, night dives and try-dives for first-timers. Omadhoo is close to the South Ari Marine Protected Area, one of the best places in the Maldives to meet whale sharks, and the guesthouse runs its own whale shark and manta snorkelling trips. Rooms are simple and comfortable, with air conditioning, a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi, and breakfast is included. It suits divers, snorkellers and anyone who wants to learn to dive, as well as couples, solo travellers and small families looking for a relaxed, ocean-focused stay on a local island.

Dining & facilities
Breakfast is included in every room, and half board can be added. The restaurant serves the daily catch, Maldivian curries, barbecued seafood and international dishes, and vegetarians are catered for. Rooms have free Wi-Fi and daily housekeeping, and the dive centre is on site.
Things to do
Diving is the focus here: PADI courses from beginner to professional, boat dives, night dives and Discover Scuba for first-timers. Snorkelling trips cover whale sharks, manta rays, turtles and the coral garden, and there are desert island and sandbank trips, sunset fishing and sunset cruises.
Getting There
Omadhoo is reached by speedboat from Malé; we arrange transfers when you book.
Good to know
Omadhoo is an inhabited local island: no alcohol on the island, modest clothing in the village, swimwear on the bikini beach. Ask us which meal plan suits you – breakfast is included and half board is available.
