Jerry's Dive Lodge

About

Jerry's Dive Lodge is a budget guesthouse on Rasdhoo, a local island in Alif Alif (North Ari) Atoll about 60 km west of Velana Airport. It is run alongside Jerrys Dive Club, and the whole stay is built around the water: the dive centre, the bikini beach, local shops and restaurants are all within walking distance. Rooms are simple and comfortable – doubles and twins with air conditioning, private bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi – set around an inner garden. Trips to Madivaru and its turtle reef, Manta Point and nearby sandbanks are easy to arrange. The front desk is open around the clock, and luggage can be stored before check-in or after check-out. It suits divers and budget travellers who want to spend their days underwater and their evenings in a friendly local village.

Getting There

Scheduled speedboats leave Velana Airport at 11:00 and 16:00 and return from Rasdhoo at 07:30 and 12:30 (Friday times differ). A seaplane flies in daylight hours, and the slower public ferry (3–4 hours) leaves Malé on Mondays and Thursdays.

Good to know

Rasdhoo is an inhabited local island: no alcohol on the island, modest clothing in the village, swimwear on the bikini beach. Check-in from 12:00, check-out by 12:00; early check-in or late check-out on request, subject to availability.
