Thulusdhoo in North Malé Atoll is one of the Maldives' best-known surf islands, home to the powerful right-hander at Cokes and close to other North Malé breaks. Between sessions it is a relaxed local island with a bikini beach and friendly cafés. You stay at Season Paradise, a 48-room hotel with a rooftop infinity pool, its own restaurant and a team that can arrange surf trips, paddleboarding and sandbank days. The main season runs from about May to September, when the swells are most consistent.

Scheduled ferry from Velana Airport to Thulusdhoo. Check in, check the swell.
- Day 2Surf days
Days 2 to 7 are yours: surf Cokes at dawn, rest by the rooftop pool, and add boat trips to nearby breaks or a sandbank afternoon whenever the waves go flat.
- Day 8Departure
Breakfast and the ferry back to the airport.

Good to know
Thulusdhoo is an inhabited local island: no alcohol on the island, modest clothing in the village and swimwear on the bikini beach. Cokes is a powerful reef break best suited to intermediate and experienced surfers.
