Your itinerary

Day 1
Arrive and cross to Thoddoo
Land at Velana Airport and take the speedboat to Thoddoo, about 75 minutes. Check in at Ale Sara Guest House and walk through the village.
Day 2
Manta and sandbank trip
Head out by boat to snorkel at a sandbank and look for manta rays and reef sharks. After dinner, go night fishing.
Day 3
Thoddoo farm tour
Walk through the farms that make Thoddoo famous for watermelon, papaya and other fruit.
Day 4
Free day on Thoddoo
Relax at the bikini beach, cycle around the island or spend a quiet day at the guesthouse.
Day 5
Rasdhoo island hopping
Spend the day by boat on nearby Rasdhoo, another small local island.
Day 6
Dolphins and a romantic dinner
Look for dolphins on an afternoon boat trip, then enjoy a private romantic dinner in the evening.

On to Sun Siyam Vilu Reef
Take the early speedboat back to Velana Airport, then travel on to Sun Siyam Vilu Reef by seaplane. Seaplanes fly in daylight, so we match your flights to the timetable. Check in to your Beach Villa with Pool.

Thoddoo is a local island. Alcohol is not served on the island, food is halal and village dress is modest.
At the resort we request halal meals and alcohol-free drink options for your stay. Tell us when you enquire and we confirm the arrangements with the resort before you book.
Romance Island at Sun Siyam Olhuveli is adults only. The other resorts welcome families.

A 30% deposit confirms your booking and the balance is due 30 days before arrival. Prices are for two adults sharing. Children, single travellers, extra nights, other villas and other meal plans are on request. Terms and conditions apply.

Thoddoo is a local island: no alcohol is served, food is halal and village dress is modest, with swimwear on the bikini beach. The resort stay can be arranged with halal meals and alcohol-free drinks on request. Marine-life sightings are never guaranteed.

The price shown on the website is the lowest available. The final price depends on your travel dates, villa and availability, and is confirmed in a written quotation before you book.
The package starts with the Thoddoo nights, then moves to the resort. Single travellers, children, extra nights, other villas and other meal plans are priced on request.
Dates not listed, including Christmas and New Year, are on request and may carry compulsory supplements.
Some rates are not available to every nationality or market. We confirm eligibility when you enquire.
A 30% deposit confirms your booking and the balance is due 30 days before arrival. Bookings made less than 30 days before arrival are paid in full to confirm.
Cancellation, change and no-show charges follow the resort and guesthouse terms and are shown in your quotation. Weather and transport delays are not a reason for a refund under the resort terms.
Speedboat and seaplane transfers follow the operators' timetables, which seaplanes limit to daylight. We match your flights to them, and times can change with sea and weather conditions.
Boat trips depend on weather and sea conditions and may be moved to another day. Marine-life sightings are never guaranteed.

Questions

How does a Thoddoo and Sun Siyam package work?

You spend the first nights on Thoddoo, a local farming island in North Ari Atoll, with six experiences included. Then you travel back through Velana Airport and on to a Sun Siyam resort by speedboat or seaplane for the rest of your stay. We book everything and match the transfers to your flights.

Why does the price say "from"?

It is the lowest price in the year. Prices change with the season and your dates, so each package page lists the prices for each travel period.

Can I choose a different villa or meal plan?

Yes. The package is priced with the resort's entry villa. Ask us and we will quote a water villa, a larger pool villa or a family residence.

Can we travel with children?

Yes, except on Romance Island, which is adults only. Child prices are on request.

Is the trip suitable for halal and alcohol-free travel?

Yes. Thoddoo does not serve alcohol and the food is halal. At the resort we request halal meals and alcohol-free drinks, and confirm them before you book.

Can we change the number of nights on each island?

Yes. Seven and ten nights are the usual choices, but we can plan a different split on request.
